For politics, Israel coverage and more. Plus, Joy Reid's unsurprising, antisemitic take on Jamaal Bowman's loss.

Hi all! This is the second newsletter accompanying Episode 12. If you haven’t yet, see yesterday’s newsletter about the media’s role in GOP attacks on Trump prosecutor Alvin Bragg.
This episode also tackles media hypocrisy plaguing coverage of Israel and the Middle East.
Here’s more on the Palestinian “journalist” in Gaza accused of having held Israeli hostages captive.
And here’s the National Review’s takedown of journalistic disasters at the Washington Post, the paper’s clear signs of anti-Israel bias, and the fact that people leading the Post’s coverage spent years at Qatar’s state-own propaganda outlet Al Jazeera.
Meanwhile, lots of people are reaching out to me about Joy Reid of MSNBC pushing an antisemitic conspiracy theory about Jamaal Bowman having lost his primary seat. She is, of course, pushing an antisemitic conspiracy theory rather than accepting his myriad problems that had nothing to do with Israel, and the fact that he pushed Hamas propaganda, making him unacceptable to most voters in his district. I have noted on social media that there’s nothing new about Joy pushing lies and antisemitism, pointing to my two-parter on her “interview” with Queen Rania of Jordan.
What You Can Do
I have found that reaching out to the highest levels of a news agency is generally the best bet. Google to find the email addresses for the highest ranking people you can. Or contact me and I’ll see if I can help you out. Then, send a note like this:
Your coverage of Israel and the war in Gaza has left out basic facts and context, both of which are necessities for truth. Please listen immediately to the podcast They Stand Corrected, which exposes these problems and fact checks mainstream news coverage.
It helps if you can get as specific as possible, noting an article you read or segment you saw/heard, and what they got wrong.
Also, send me links! If you’re a paid subscriber, you can send those in the comments section below. Everyone else can find a form through my website.
Thanks all,
