The oxygen-blocking, robot-powered site fighting for truth
In a world of media failures and fake everything, here's what any society can build.

In the fight for truth, sometimes we need to pull back and take a look at the big picture — the really big picture. How well is humanity doing in this fight? What direction are we going? The answer: It's scary. Lies fly around the world faster than ever. The media is not only failing to stop them; it’s doing the opposite. Big legacy media actively platform and repeat dangerous lies on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, AI is becoming more realistic than ever. Propagandists are happy to use any and all tools to fool people in order to amass power. This era is like a liar's dream.
But what if there is a place — a physical place — that deciphers what’s real and holds onto proof? It turns out, there is. I was invited to one. In the new episode of They Stand Corrected, I take you there.
In the next newsletter, I’ll share videos, photos, and lots more information. So be sure to subscribe. Here’s a teaser photo:
It has 11 floors, takes up about half a million square feet, and has a huge section that keeps out oxygen, so robots get you what you need. This place shows what could be built in any society that values truth. One of the women I interview in this episode is a global leader in making that happen.
This team’s work is especially impressive because they're working to document the truth on a crucial story, and a very difficult one to grapple with. In the episode, you’ll hear why this process means tackling big ethical questions. And you'll hear from Mamie Till, a woman whose brave decision went a long way in advancing the U.S. civil rights movement.
Also in this episode, a surprise audio “conversation” that an AI tool presented me with — and what my kids said about it. (Listen to the very end, to hear a whispered message.)
