Hi all,
In the episode coming out tomorrow, I look at the “why” factor of the election: myths and facts about what really drove voters’ decisions. It follows last week’s episode fact checking claims about demographics, particularly around Black voters. I piece through the mess of claims and counterclaims to tell you what we know.
Before then, here’s a great way you can help support They Stand Corrected: Sign this petition using my unique link: bit. ly/4ezV7Hb
You don’t have to agree with everything about an organization in order to agree with a petition. This one’s simple, to the point, and necessary. As I’ve explained on the show, groups doing spread-the-word campaigns sometimes make small contributions to the show for each signature through my link. If you sign you’re taking a free action that will help cover costs of putting out the podcast. Get others to sign too, and be sure that they use the same unique link!
You obviously don’t have to be Jewish to care about this. At a time when Jewish people face increasing dangers across the world, both major U.S. political parties and the media should be showing unified support.
This tiny community (only about 15 million people) has only one place that we know we can go to and fight for our survival — something we’ve had to do many, many, many, many times across the centuries.

That’s why a safe and secure Israel is necessary. And Israel is the front line of the fight for democracy and against Islamist terror, much of which is currently sponsored by Iran. If you believe in democracy and freedom, then Israel is fighting for you.
You don’t have to agree with every action to understand that blocking critical aid to Israel is no solution. In previous episodes, I have explained that the United States gives aid to Ethiopia, where more than half a million civilians have been killed, and to Jordan, which is refusing to honor an extradition treaty and harboring a terrorist who slaughtered Americans. If you want to talk about foreign aid, put all foreign aid on the table — not just the part Israel uses to defend itself from terrorism. Also, most of the aid Israel receives is spent here in the U.S. building jobs.
Big love,
JL
