Mr. Levs, what are your thoughts on the 9/25/25 conclusions of the UN Independent Commission of Inquiry that has decided Israel is committing Genocide? In addition, the International Association of Genocide Scholars has said Israel's actions meet the legal definition of genocide. Are these legitimate entities with fact-based findings?

Hello And thank you for being a supporter. I've dug into both these groups, and appreciate the thoughtful question. The answer is: No, they are not. The "scholars" group is not a scholars group. It's a group anyone can join for $30. And the vast majority of members didn't even vote on the question: https://theystandcorrected.substack.com/p/the-scholars-are-fake-the-media-doesnt

As for the U.N. group, I tackled that one in Episode 78. If you listen to podcasts, you can find it on any platform and in here: https://theystandcorrected.substack.com/p/one-eye-and-a-piano-a-hostages-defiant

But your question makes me realize that I might not yet have put that response into the newsletter. So I will!

Thanks much,

JL

Good morning, Mr. Levs,

Thank you for your prompt response to my questions. It is refreshing to have someone with a deeper understanding of issues and the ability to investigate them to turn to. After I read many fact checkers' explanations, I frequently find myself asking: "Who fact-checks the fact checkers?" I'm quite skeptical of most of what I read in this age of lies, damned lies, and statistics, to quote Mark Twain (or Benjamin Disraeli) or any number of 19th century pundits.
