For everyone you know in NYC: Mamdani threatens democracy
There should be nothing partisan about rejecting abuse of power.

Days from now, residents of the nation’s largest city will begin early voting for mayor. Polling indicates a dangerous, anti-democratic candidate is likely to sail to victory. A man who has announced he would abuse power and carry out an illegal, unconstitutional arrest. A man who has the New York Times as his cheering section.
Even if socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani wins as expected, every vote against him is a crucial act of protest.
Democrats supporting him are going on the record, making a statement that they’re perfectly fine with their team doing things they assail Trump for doing: violating core principles of democracy.
Please share this with every voter you know in New York City, and tell them to take a few minutes to listen. (Scroll down for a transcript explaining the threat.)
While Mamdani spreads lies and refuses to call out Hamas for its evil terrorism, new photos show him smiling alongside terror-linked and anti-gay leaders. It’s especially disturbing given that Mandani is attempting to justify his illegal threat by citing same-sex marriage.
If Democrats want to claim these photos are irrelevant, they’ll have to say the same about photos of Trump with people they despise.
Here’s a cleaned up, annotated, hyperlinked transcript from Episode 64, available to supporters who make all this hard work possible. (Thank you!)
Josh: In 2016, Trump had a great time as his crowds chanted, “Lock her up” about Hillary Clinton. That was dangerous and anti-democratic. In democracies, we don’t lock up our political opponents. We have three branches of the federal government. There would have to be charges and a trial, which, by the way, Trump ended up facing after he was out of office. He is a convicted felon but was not locked up.
There were times when some people in Trump’s orbit made arguments about how locking up Hillary Clinton could somehow happen legally, like they insisted she had violated specific laws and there would be a trial. But it was obvious what was happening. Dictators do that.
That brings us to the mayoral race in America’s largest city.
