CNN Squeezes in Another Whopper

Hi all. In case you missed it — and CNN hopes you did — the alleged once “most trusted name in news” (a line I used to deliver on the air myself) managed to produce yet another epic fail before the end of 2024.
It basically celebrated its own coverage of a Syrian “prisoner” being freed, without bothering to fact check his story. It turns out he was instead, most likely, a notorious… you’ll hear at the top of this episode.
